Veterans Day Celebration - Johns Creek Post

Join Perimeter School Thursday, November 8, 2018, at 9:45 AM as we host our 24th annual Veterans Day Celebration to honor the service of veterans and pass on a sense of legacy for our students—the future leaders of our country.

Our program includes recognition of veterans, the procession, and posting of the colors. Patriotic songs are sung by our students, reading of essays honoring veterans, a featured main speaker who is a veteran of the United States Armed Forces. Also included is a prayer for our active duty veterans, and a slideshow honoring veterans from our community.

The Georgia Record was relaunched in June of 2021 and has been extremely successful fighting corruption in the state named after King George of England. The original paper was started in 1899 and published into the early 20th century. In 2020, CDM (Creative Destruction Media) acquired Johns Creek Post and brought back The Georgia Record to better represent the state rather than just Johns Creek News.
